MetaVis Technologies, a Microsoft (News - Alert) Gold certified ISV that develops software to help organize SharePoint and Office 365 environments for improved search and governance, is showcasing its new Office 365 and SharePoint migration, governance and metadata management products which have been designed to help companies better organize and know their data at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2012.

The new tools will enable customers to begin assessing their migration needs for SharePoint 2013 and help them to simplify the management of metadata using SharePoint term stores. In addition, the company also debuted its Information Manager Office 365 App, a SharePoint online application for content classification that is now available for download at the SharePoint 2013 Store.

"There are many new features in SharePoint 2013 that will allow customers to better manage and organize their content. MetaVis products are SharePoint 2013 ready and we will be previewing new solutions that will help customers successfully prepare and plan their 2013 strategies,” said Peter Senescu, president and co-founder of MetaVis Technologies, in a statement.

“We are also excited to be a part of the emerging SharePoint 2013 Store with apps that make it easier for users to manage their SharePoint content," Senescu added.

Back in July, MetaVis Technologies revealed it would be fully supporting SharePoint 2013 environments by providing tools for SharePoint migration and administration, as well as end-user tools to manage information in SharePoint 2013. 

As a member of Microsoft’s SharePoint 2013 Partner Advisory Board and Technology Adoption Program, the Office 365 provider has been working closely with Microsoft to ensure that customers and partners migrating to SharePoint 2013 have all the tools necessary for success. MetaVis leverages new Web-based APIs to ensure that its products easily support past, current and future versions of SharePoint at the time of release. In fact, all of the firm’s products now work seamlessly with SharePoint 2013, Office 365, SharePoint 2010, 2007 and 2003.

When leveraging solutions from MetaVis, SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 users have the software they need to easily design, deploy and migrate content into SharePoint 2013.
