Office 365 is the cloud-based platform many companies rely upon to efficiently communicate at a much higher level. The offering allows them to share documents, view calendars, contacts, tasks and notes, and dramatically cut costs while saving invaluable time.
Digitech Systems, which enables companies to effectively manage, secure and store corporate information through its content management software, has unveiled a new data upload solution that allows users to move files directly to SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 from PaperVision SharePoint Tools, PaperVision Capture, PaperVision Capture Desktop, and PaperVision Capture SP for SharePoint.
PaperVision Enterprise content management (ECM) software will assist businesses to much better manage and retrieve corporate information. And the seamless integration with Office 365 simplifies the creation of columns for content types and SharePoint libraries, making it easier to share, organize and manage both electronic files and paper records in Office 365.
PaperVision Capture is a production-level scanning application designed for Office 365 users with large volumes of paper records. With this product in place, businesses can integrate paper-based records into SharePoint libraries. In addition, PaperVision Capture Desktop allows individual or departmental users to migrate batches of paper records to Office 365 and SharePoint 2013, while PaperVision Capture SP for SharePoint is the first desktop scanning application designed specifically to help SharePoint users’ better control paper documents. They can automatically create SharePoint columns for libraries and content types needed to manage and organize information effectively via this solution.
"This integration with SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online and Office 365 makes it easier for millions of users to get paper and electronic data into SharePoint," said HK Bain, CEO of Digitech Systems, in a statement.
"The integration offers the benefits of PaperVision SharePoint Tools, PaperVision Capture, PaperVision Capture Desktop, and PaperVision Capture SP for SharePoint to the Microsoft (News - Alert) community of users, extending the value of SharePoint for thousands of organizations," Bain added.
