When using gloEMR software, you can document encounters quickly and easily due to the fact that gloStream leverages several key Microsoft products within gloEMR including Microsoft Office Word for text editing. Built-in and familiar Microsoft technology also reduces ramp-up time, enabling the staff to be more productive.  Further, the gloEMR dashboard tracks a patient location from admission to discharge, as well as enables users to easily share daily schedules and calendars and order labs, refill prescriptions and more. 

The EMR solution can dynamically pull patient-specific data directly into EMR's notes section from the clinical database. The software uses industry standards to flow demographic and clinical data between gloEMR and other major clinical and practice management systems.

In other Office news, recently Microsoft revealed it is rewarding customers who buy the boxed copy of Office 2010 with a free upgrade to Office 2013. The free upgrade will only be applicable if you bought Office 2010 between October 19, 2012 and April 30, 2013 however.
