Baku-based Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 Azerbaijan recently entered into a partnership agreement with the State Agency for Services to Citizens & Social Innovations in order to equip all ASAN centers with licensed software from Microsoft.
Office 365 is a cloud-based offering that drives collaboration and communication amongst a workforce.
Engaged in the development of software and the promotion of corporate products, Microsoft Azerbaijan supports partners and customers as well as localizes new corporate technologies and implements social projects in Azerbaijan.
According to Rufat Hajialibekov, Microsoft Azerbaijan’s head, the ASAN centers will be introduced to the corporate licensing software Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. MEA is a corporate licensing program that has been designed for organizations with at least 250 computers.
"In the future we intend to expand cooperation with the ASAN centers, and may be able to offer even more interesting solutions for them, but currently these centers starting out and there is a need for legislative amendments to provide certain services by ASAN centers. For this reason, we are limited to MEA,” said Rufat Hajialibekov, in a statement.
With the signing of the EA agreement, the organization will be able to license the Microsoft basic products for all used PCs, and the payment will be made in the form of annual fees.
It will also be able to license the entire set of three products, the desktop platform and each of the basic products for the entire term of the agreement to use the latest versions of selected products.
