The next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held before the end of 2012, in Kiev, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko told journalists in Baku.
He noted that the parliamentary elections held in Ukraine did not affect the schedule of intergovernmental commissions, which will be conducted in a consistent manner.
"At present, work is underway to prepare the agenda of the intergovernmental commission. It is necessary to determine the composition of delegations to prepare documents to be considered," Mishchenko said.
The upcoming meeting will emphasize the cooperation in the fields of energy, construction and military-technical cooperation, he said.
Bilateral trade amounted to $408.44 million in January-September 2012, where the share of imports accounted for $346.04 million, Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said.
