Expanding Into New Regions and New Markets, Message Systems Again Adds to Executive Ranks
COLUMBIA, Md. --(Business Wire)--
Continuing its steady stream of growth on the product, customer and
personnel fronts, Message Systems today announced that technology
industry veteran Steve Dille has joined the company as senior vice
president of global marketing. The hire follows recent announcements
that the company had won several new clients, built out its business
development and customer success teams, and had also expanded its
footprint by adding several offices across North America and the
Asia-Pacific region. Most recently the senior vice president for
marketing at TouchCommerce, Steve Dille has more than 20 years
experience building successful B2B technology brands.

"The market for Message Systems solutions is global, stretches across
many different vertical industries and is growing quickly," said George
Schlossnagle, president and CEO of Message
Systems. "We're determined to meet the demand in that marketplace
more effectively than ever before, and I'm confident that Steve Dille is
the marketing expert who can help lead us on that mission. Message
Systems has been very successful in solving the email and text messaging
challenges of companies within sectors where messaging is critical to
customer engagement and revenue generation; it's why most of the world's
largest social networks, cloud computing companies and marketing
automation irms rely on our software. In recent years we've made great
strides expanding into verticals like financial services, travel and
hospitality, consumer electronics and retail, and I look forward to
Steve continuing those efforts."
A senior marketing executive with deep roots in Silicon Valley, Steve
Dille has experience with both startups and Fortune 100 technology
companies. As senior vice president of marketing at Message Systems, Mr.
Dille will head up the company's global product marketing,
demand-generation, branding and communications operations. Widely
recognized in the tech sector as an effective cross-functional leader
and category builder, Steve is one of the rare marketing practitioners
who combines fact-based business thinking with strategic perspective,
understanding of technology, and superior communication skills. Steve
comes to Message Systems from e-commerce solution provider
TouchCommerce, and previously held senior vice president roles at
AdPortal (sold to Glam Media), Kickfire (sold to Teradata (News - Alert)), and Viador
Inc., where he led a 45-person sales and marketing team from $1M in
revenue to a successful IPO and a $1B market valuation. Previously,
Steve served as global head of marketing for publicly traded Morgan
Stanley Capital International (MSCI) where he also served on the
company's operating committee. Steve began his career at Sybase (News - Alert), where
he launched Sybase IQ and created the category for column store
databases for data analysis. This first-of-its-kind product still leads
the category 15 years later. Steve holds a bachelors of science degree
with honors in computer science and math from the University of
Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of
Business.
"The brand-customer conversation has changed rapidly in recent years,
and Message Systems is playing a central role in helping companies to
communicate more effectively through email, text and other message-based
channels," said Mr. Dille. "It's an exciting time to join Message
Systems, especially because the company is at a stage in its growth
where it's becoming a globally recognized technology brand. I'm
confident that my experience with successfully launching technology
solutions into the marketplace will help Message Systems make that leap
to the next level in its evolution."
