Nov 19, 2012 (The Kansas City Star - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Portals Hardware, which designs luxury fixtures for kitchens and bathrooms, is relocating from Overland Park to Kansas City with the help of state incentives.

The firm specializes in designing luxury hardware products and accessories including shower door, cabinet and accessible hardware, and custom designs, according to an announcement from the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The move, scheduled for next month, is expected to bring 16 jobs to its new facility at 925 Lydia Ave.

Portals Hardware is planning to invest $200,000 in its facility which will accommodate design, customer service, and warehouse and distribution operations. The company's products are manufactured overseas.
