BRIEF: Altercation Puts Man In Hospital

An altercation between two unidentified men led to at least one if them being transported to University of New Mexico Hospital late Monday afternoon.
APD spokesman Rob Gibbs said in an email the altercation occurred in the 3700 block of 12th NW, and that when emergency personnel arrived shortly after 5 p.m. one of the man had no pulse. The EMTs were able to revive the man and he was rushed to UNMH.
Police were still on the scene at 6:30 p.m. investigating the incident, and had one person in custody, Gibbs said.
