Waynesboro-based nTelos Wireless has activated two new cell sites that will enhance coverage in the southern portion of Albemarle County and at the Boar's Head Inn.
The company said on Tuesday that the improvements will enhance coverage to areas along Route 20 between Charlottesville and Scottsville, including Carters Mountain Road and Red Hill Road, and throughout the entire Boar's Head property.
"It's always exciting to make network improvements that allow our customers to have a better wireless experience," said Conrad Hunter, chief operating officer of nTelos Wireless.
The company has about 400,000 customers in seven states.
