Mouser Electronics Gets EDN China's Best Distributor of the Year Award

Nov 27, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mouser Electronics, Inc., a global design fulfillment distributor for semiconductors and electronic components, has received the top distributor award - 2012 Best Distributor of the Year at Innovation Award from EDN China in Shanghai.

In a release, the Company said that the award honors its outstanding performance on product lead time, technical support and e-supply chain.

This award follows Mouser's recent recognition as one of the "Top 10 Distinguished Distributors for 2012" in China's electronics industry by HC360.com and the "Most Satisfactory Overseas Franchised Distributors Award" by the Electronics Supply and Manufacturing-China (ESMC) magazine in June.

Mouser said that it has established its Asia marketing team, with six local Customer Service Centers across the region including a Shanghai location, to communicate its proposition to local engineers and buyers by delivering the newest products and advanced technologies for a speed-to-market advantage. The Mouser marketing team is making a local impact through its involvement in the China Electronics Distributor Alliance (CEDA), tradeshow and conference participation, and its sponsorship of Chinese Racing Sensation Ho-Pin Tung. These measures not only increase Mouser's engagement with the market, they also enhance the company's brand awareness in China.
