Six Business Executives Join SDSU's College of Business Administration Board of Directors

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)--

The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced that six business executives with local, national and international ties have been named to the college's board of directors. They are Michael Bertolino, Jeffrey Dunham, Tom Gildred, Steadman Graham, Brian Kelley (News - Alert), and Alan Wessel.

SDSU alumnus Michael Bertolino ('85, accounting) is the west region tax managing partner for Ernst & Young and specializes in global tax consulting services. He is known throughout Ernst & Young for his commitment to gender equality within the accounting field.

Another SDSU alumnus, Jeffery Dunham ('83, finance) is the founder and CEO of Dunham & Associates Investment Counsel Inc. and the chairman of the Dunham Trust Company. Dunham was a pioneer in performance-based advisory compensation which has now become a standard in the industry.

San Diego entrepreneur, Tom Gildred ('88, accounting), launched Emerald Textiles in 2010, a commercial laundry service for Southern California healthcare providers, which now serves nearly 80% of the hospital beds in San Diego. He is also the founderand chairman for FMT Consultants, a Microsoft (News - Alert) certified gold partner.


Steadman Graham is the chairman and CEO of S. Graham & Associates, a Chicago-based management and marketing consulting firm. He also conducts training for corporations, organizations and nonprofits and is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, You Can Make It Happen: A Nine-Step Plan for Success and Teens Can Make It Happen: Nine Steps to Success.

As the CFO and managing partner for Paradigm Investment Group, Brian Kelley oversees a 96-unit Hardee's franchise group. He also serves as the CFO for the partnership group that owns and operates the award-winning Donovan's Prime Steakhouse and Donovan's Prime Seafood restaurants.

Alan Wessel graduated in 1981 with a finance degree from San Diego State and currently serves as the senior vice president of the west region at Vulcan Materials Company. He has been with the company since 1992 and is responsible for Vulcan's business interests in California, Arizona and New Mexico.
