BRIEF: Man robbed in hotel room
STOCKTON, Feb 14, 2013 (The Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A man who rented a room at a hotel in the 4500 block of North El Dorado Street told police he was robbed about 4 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
The victim told officers he answered a knock at the door when an armed man forced his way into the room, police said. The victim was able to escape and sought help at the manager's office as the robber fled the scene, authorities said.
The robber was described as a 35-year-old man standing 6 feet tall with blue clothing and a handgun, police said.
