BRIEF: Mall at Chestnut Hill adds eateries
Feb 20, 2013 (Boston Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Two new restaurants are coming to the Mall at Chestnut Hill.
Besito and Tokyo Japanese Steak House are scheduled to open this summer.
Besito (meaning "little kiss") will feature authentic Mexican cuisine, from tacos and carnitas to pescado con pipian y atole (pan-seared blue corn- and crab-crusted mahi mahi filet with pumpkin seed pipian and sweet corn atole) and filete de res al chipotle (Negra Modelo-marinated beef tenderloin over chipotle quemado salsa, topped with queso Chihuahua, nopales and plantains).
The restaurant will open in July on the first level of the mall, in the space formerly held by Charley's Saloon, which closed in January. Besito also has locations in West Hartford, and Huntington and Roslyn, N.Y.
Tokyo Japanese Steak House, where chefs will prepare steak and seafood dishes tableside, is moving into the former Bernard's Gourmet Asian Cuisine space on the second level of the mall.
Bernard's will reopen at the adjacent Chestnut Hill Shopping Center.
