When Clarizen’s mobile venture first began, the company only offered an application to support iPhone (News - Alert) users, however, now Android users can utilize the benefits of Clarizen’s mobile ecosystem as well as the company has finally released the launch of an Android app.

In addition to the Android (News - Alert) application, Clarizen has also released a Web-based toolbar and Web-based add-in to MS Outlook called Clarizen Anywhere, which will provide users with real-time access to their Clarizen tasks and projects without having to log into their Clarizen environment, according to the company.

“Today’s project teams do not want to be constrained by timeframes that do not fit their schedule and technology that does not fit their needs,” said Avinoam Nowogrodski, CEO of Clarizen. “These mobile properties enhance the experience for our end users, while building on the Clarizen promise of powering the modern real-time enterprise.”

Clarizen’s new Android app will provide mobile users with the ability to manage projects outside the office by easily viewing and modifying tasks, reporting timesheets and creating new action items to share with colleagues. In addition, this real-time project management system allows for instantaneous updates and problem solving as well as the ability to collaborate with team members, according to Clarizen officials.

Available in the Clarizen App Marketplace, Clarizen Anywhere allows users to easily manage and monitor their tasks and report their timesheets as well as create and assign new tasks through a convenient browser popup. The toolbar is compatible with all Internet browsers.
