The e-mail revolution introduced a whole new approach to corporate communications. We loved the immediacy of it, the ease in which we could use it and the ability to include multiple individuals in a message and archive an entire conversation stream. When combined with online project management, however, e-mail takes on a whole new role.
This recent Business Insider report focuses on the potential demise of e-mail, especially with the rise in popularity of online project management. The article focused on Clarizen CEO, Avinoam Nowogrodski and the company’s online project management solution hosted in the cloud. While other companies (Asana) are touting the death of e-mail, Clarizen recommends the right approach is connecting e-mails to processes.
