As mid-market organizations are increasingly looking for ways to manage every aspect of customer interactions, transform levels of accessibility, information management and customer insight, there’s no doubt the future of business computing lies in the cloud.

But with this transition come the allied challenges of data security, compliance, scalability and reliability – all of which have seemingly been addressed by Sage Business Solutions with its new launch, Sage CRM Cloud.

The new Sage solution, available in Professional and new Essentials editions, uses Rackspace’s (News - Alert) new hybrid hosting technology – RackConnect – as its backbone, and will reportedly enable small and mid-sized companies to start with an affordable and user-friendly CRM package that grows with the business.

The full-featured CRM includes everything from sales forecasting to campaign management, can be accessed via the iPhone (News - Alert) and Android devices and is available with a Microsoft Outlook plugin feature.

Sage’s CRM Cloud solution is easy to use and quick to deploy.

Customers, according to Sage, should not only have the freedom to choose the right solutions for their needs, but have the support and flexibility to manage those services as they choose.

Its dedicated server provides organizations with secure storage and full control over data accessibility to select users, and payment structures that were flexible to suit user needs.

By strengthening its portfolio of online business solutions, Sage Business solutions have reportedly extended the reach, flexibility and rapid time-to-value of traditional Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)), and set a new standard for organizations to reap the benefits of CRM in the cloud.

“At Sage, we are passionate about making it easier for people to do business and Sage CRM Cloud builds on this commitment by giving customers the flexibility, reliability, security and support to connect services and view their customer data in a way that best suits their needs now and in the future,” noted Mike Lorge, managing director at Sage Business Solutions.

The Kidney Support Network (KSN), a Queensland-based organization that provides a range of quality support services, deployed Sage CRM in the cloud and has been impressed with the ability to customize the software, quickly develop reports, and link with Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook.

Automation and affordability were other attractive features.

Sage is offering a 30-day trial that will allow users to decide if the cloud is the right CRM deployment option for their business.
