200 Call Center Vacancies Available with Convergys in Texas

200 professionals are being hired by Convergys (News - Alert) Corp. (NYSE: CVG) for their Laredo Texas call center. Under chief executive officer, Andrea Ayers, Cincinnati -based Convergys is investing in this new space and technology call center in Texas. Apart from the United States, Convergys operates a number of call centers in different countries like Canada, Philippines and India.

According to a Convergys statement, the jobs that are available in the Laredo call center, where the company has been operating since 2005, will all be in full-time positions of sales and customer associates and offers good growth opportunities as well.

As a global player in customer management services, Convergys is looking for candidates who are highly motivated and are also capable of working from the company contact center. They must also be able to provide exceptional customer service to promote the products and services of clients. According to Martin Lampman, site leader at Laredo, Convergys is actually reaching out to its own community as these are not only terrific positions professionally, but able candidates can be used as great stepping stones for careers in training, recruitments and operations.
