BBB Industries has received two awards by the Alliance group, one for its outstanding product fill rates and one for outstanding service as a supplier of rotating electrical products. The Fill Rate award was based on achieving at least a 95-percent fill rate.

The Outstanding Customer Service award recognizes a vendor for exceptional quality, outstanding sales support, superior customer service and top-notch technical support.

The company has received both the awards for two consecutive years, providing the Alliance group with thousands of SKUs from a diverse portfolio of products, including both new and remanufactured starters and alternators for automotive and heavy-duty applications.

Trey Smart, executive vice president of Sales at BBB Industries, said, “We were committed to repeating in 2012 and our commitment to customer service and to the Alliance group is evident in us winning this award in back-to-back years. We’re already working diligently to do it again in 2013.”

Joe Felicelli, president of BBB Industries, said, “Part of our strategic position and our competitive advantage is the added value that we bring to the table, outside of the product itself.”

BBB Industries was recently in the news for supporting Chipola College. The company donated $5,000 worth of equipment for Chipola automotive students to use as this relationship with Chipola flowered.

BBB Industries hired a profession production crew, 3 Echoes, to shoot the videos on campus.

Two automotive instructors at the school are the hosts for a series of auto training sessions that will be available world-wide on YouTube (News - Alert), through posts provided by the school's partner in the project, BBB Industries.

Chipola instructors John Gardner and Chase Vlieg wrote their own scripts and host the 10-minute segments. Gardner said the two probably spent 20 hours preparing for and in shooting time for each of the short segments.

The sessions are devoted to helping students learn some of the most advanced technology as it evolves in an age when the shade-tree mechanic is becoming a thing of the past. Segments feature electrical system fundamentals, meters, test equipment and the principles of magnetism as it applies to the automotive arena.
