Voxeo Names Bob Ingalls as New CEO

Voxeo (News - Alert) is a company that been moving up the rungs of the technology sector for quite a while now, and its latest move is a bid to add a little strength to its standing. The company has announced a brand new CEO who is a veteran of the company’s little corner of the business world. 

Bob Ingalls, a 33-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, has taken the helm of Voxeo.

While naming new leadership, Voxeo might have also underlined its own expertise at running its business as it will keep the old leadership on staff, ensuring that the company won’t lose any institutional memory or leadership. 

Former CEO Jonathan Taylor will remain with the top rate telecommunications company as the new Chairman of the Board of Voxeo and its new subsidiary, Voxeo Labs. 

Ingalls had some pretty intimate knowledge of Voxeo before he officially became the man who will see them through the next phase of the company’s growth. Ingalls served at 28 years for Verizon (News - Alert), while he was also a board advisor to Voxeo. 

Ingalls last official position with Verizon, before he made the move to Voxeo, was as the company’s president for Retail Markets Group and Business Solutions Group. Ingalls had full control over growing the revenue of these departments.
