Gryphon Makes Core Phone Mobile Available, Extending DNC Compliance to iPhone, Android

Gryphon Networks, a provider of cloud-based sales intelligence and direct-marketing compliance solutions, today made available the Core Phone Mobile dialer application. Available for the iPhone and Android (News - Alert) devices, Core Phone Mobile enables mobile workers to access the Gryphon Sales Intelligence and Do-Not-Call compliance services from these mobile devices.

This makes it easier for distributed sales and marketing agents to stay compliant with do-not-call regulations, as well as company-specific business rules like call frequency and location restrictions. In other words, the app offers management visibility to employees on the go, while supporting BYOD policies.

Furthermore, Core Phone (News - Alert) Mobile supports Gryphon's carrier-grade call recording service, Core Voice, enabling the capture and measurement of customer calls for audit, training and quality assurance purposes.

Core Voice also offers targeted speech analytics, allowing managers to quickly sort through large amounts of conversational data by way of sales-effectiveness scoring, script compliance and configurable e-mail alerts.

"As sales teams become more distributed, it becomes harder to obtain and interpret activity data to improve agent performance," said Eric Esfahanian, vice president of sales and marketing at Gryphon, in a statement. "Gryphon provides our clients with management visibility to the whole organization — from the large offices to the field — while ensuring adherence to business rules and regulations."

Core Phone Mobile is actually a cloud service built into telecommunications networks, allowing it to avoid the issues of traditional call accounting tools as applied to mobile phones. This patented method of deployment results in a high-availability service that doesn't require hardware or complex network adjustments.

As such installation is a breeze for both existing Gryphon clients, and new ones such as Core Phone Mobile will integrate with the rest of the Gryphon business rules engine.

Other Gryphon products include the Core Phone Contact Center, released in August 2012, designed specifically for outbound sales and marketing organizations and contact centers. It certifies all outbound calls for compliance with all federal, state and industry-specific DNC laws and restrictions.
