Five9 SoCoCare Honored with Cloud Computing Excellence Award Win

Not two months after Five9 acquired the SoCoCare social engagement and mobile customer care solution, it’s already winning awards. In particular, the cloud contact center software provider has earned a 2013 Cloud Computing Excellence Award from Cloud Computing Magazine specifically honoring the Five9 (News - Alert) SoCoCare solution.
“We are thrilled to be honored for our achievements in cloud innovation, as well as social and mobile product excellence,” Lance Fried, senior vice president of social and mobile at Five9, in a statement. “With the Five9 strategic acquisition of SoCoCare, two best-in-class cloud-based solutions have come together to deliver the next generation of cloud contact center software.”
Earlier this year, Five9 was selected by AlwaysOn as an OnDemand Top 100 winner for its cloud contact center software, which displayed cloud innovation rapid market growth and increased awareness. The company also achieved Oracle Validated Integration in September with the Oracle (News - Alert) Service Cloud.
The Cloud Computing Excellence Award recognizes innovative cloud companies that are bringing differentiated solutions to the market, namely those that reduce operating costs and increase customer satisfaction in today’s more socially connected climate.
Five9 SoCoCare fits the bill perfectly, as it combines rich social feeds from various sources — including blogs and social networking sites — and allows contact center agents to reply publicly or via direct message to authors using one unified platform. Meanwhile, the solution’s natural language processing capabilities and advanced business rules allow it to offer advanced filtering that helps minimize spam while enabling automatic issue identification and ensuring posts are forwarded to the right agent.
