NOVATime Technology announced that the company has deployed its latest NOVAtime 4000 STARbox Workforce Management solution for Volunteers of America (VOA) of Wisconsin. The development is part of VOA of Wisconsin’s move to upgrade its systems from the existing NOVAtime 3000 Enterprise workforce management to the latest solution.
NOVATime 4000 STARbox is a fully integrated workforce management solution offering time, scheduling, attendance, leaves, accruals and reporting features captured in real-time. The solution is highly scalable to add more employees, highly flexible to customize as per the needs of the organization and easy to use even for new employees. The current deployment at VOA Wisconsin is customized for 100 employees and 12 supervisors. Time entry is made with the use of NOVAtouch devices that perform a biometric fingerprint validation before granting access to an employee.
In a release, Cassandra Zamora, Human Resources Manager at VOA-Wisconsin, said “I really like the fingerprint scanner. It’s the best thing for our company because employees don’t have to enter any information other than their employee ID, and then scan their finger. It is great not having to remember a password. Further, supervisors like being able to access the system remotely.”
Before implementing the NOVATime solution, the employees would enter the time into a spreadsheet and then export the file to VOA’s payroll system, UltiPro. NOVATime solution now automatically updates the recorded time details to the UltiPro system in real time enabling increased accuracy in payroll processing. The new implementation has approximately reduced the payroll processing time by nearly eight hours in a fortnight. NOVATime solution was deployed at VOA Wisconsin by Integrated Time Systems, the authorized reseller for NOVATime products.
NOVATime Technology is engaged in the development of solutions for integrating Time and Attendance Management systems with Payroll and Human Resource systems. The products from the company are highly popular for high scalability and increased flexibility.
Volunteers of America is a non-profit organization providing housing and healthcare services to various vulnerable groups of citizens across the US. The organization employs around 16,000 professional paid employees. VOA Wisconsin, the Wisconsin chapter of VOA provides housing and residential care services to around 200 individuals and their families every year.
