Having great tools in place, delivering consumer-friendly products, having an excellent support system and providing exceptional customer service deserves an award. Boost Software qualified on each of these counts, and received the Best in Biz International award for 2014, being chosen from businesses and other organizations from over 30 countries.
The Best in Biz Award organization is touted to be the only independent business awards program that holds industry analysts and members of the press as judges.
Peter Dunbar and Amit Mehta, co-founders of Boost Software, entered the PC optimization software sector partly because of the inadequate support facilities available. “Even the companies with good software didn’t provide adequate support,” said Dunbar.
Boost Software claims that it provided something even many Fortune 500 companies no longer provide—good customer service. “Almost no one was giving adequate customer service in this niche—most merchants weren’t providing anything at all, aside from occasionally-checked emails from the owner!” said Mehta.
The lack of good service prompted both partners to help people by providing excellent customer service, in every sense of the word. Boost Software provides native English-speaking phone support, typically based in the caller’s country of origin. It has call centers in Florida that cater to U.S., U.K., Canadian, and Australian customers. And, for others, it has email and ticket support systems in place.
A Microsoft (News - Alert) Certified Gold Development partner, Boost Software has created products that have easy-to-use interfaces, quick loading applications and fast install and uninstall functionality. In addition, it was so consumer friendly that it did not load computers with unnecessary toolbars and other software that typically creeps in during installation.
Its flagship products - PC HealthBoost, PC SpeedBoost, and DriverBoost did what they claimed to do. Customers that used PC HealthBoost claimed that it offered cutting edge PC optimization and registry cleaning technology and was unmatched in delivering speed, performance and stability, while DriverBoost updated all system drivers automatically. Startup Boost displays a complete list of every program set to run on startup so that users can manage them.
All its products are aimed at helping users, and its tools have been specifically been designed with them in mind. Whether it’s speed, maintenance or performance, Boost Software has quality software that takes care of all computer/user needs.
Boost Software plans to release antivirus and computer security programs later this year, and could well be in the running for future awards.
