Prestige International USA has announced it opened its latest contact center in Hong Kong SAR. Located in the city’s vibrant downtown, the new center offers multilingual customer interactions combined with global connectivity to organizations such as those servicing the financial services, insurance and luxury goods markets.
The new Hong Kong contact center extends Prestige International’s global service network to 15 facilities in 13 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Other locations include a 700 seat contact center in Akita, Japan along with facilities in major metropolitan areas such as London, England, Sydney, Australia, Singapore, and Los Angeles, Calif.
The new Prestige facility is a far cry from many typical contact centers. It is located in Tower 1 of the prestigious Gateway (News - Alert) Tower office complex which soars above the Harbor City shopping mall with its 700-plus shops, including 50 restaurants and two cinemas. It features a comfortable working environment located on the 20th floor that features floor-to-ceiling windows stretching that provide all employees with a picturesque view of Hong Kong bay and Kowloon Park.
Prestige International explains that locating in downtown Hong Kong allows it to be in close proximity to its high-end retail and financial services clients that desire frequent contact with its contact center agents. In addition, the attractive facilities and desirable location provides Prestige International a strong proposition in the competitive Hong Kong labor market for hiring the multilingual, high quality talent required for its high-end programs. That enables Prestige’s Hong Kong facility to service not only the local market but also the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asian countries.
