NCO Group Inc., a global provider of business process outsourcing services, has announced an “Inauguration Ceremony” at its newest call center in Guatemala, at Calzada Roosevelt, 14-82, zona 7, Galerias Primma. The ceremony is set to be held on Tuesday, August 25th beginning at 8:30 am (EDT).

Romulo Alfredo Caballeros Guatemala's Economic Minister, Stephen G. McFarland the U.S. Ambassador, and NCO executives along with current clients are all expected to attend the ceremony.

Invest in Guatemala* suggests the country offers the highest EAP (Economically Active Population) percentage in Central America. The country offers a 90 percent literacy rate and since 1985, has been moving toward open market policies with the region and other world countries.

Michael J. Barrist, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NCO, said in a statement, "This new center in Guatemala is a great addition to our network of call centers and enhances our ability to service our international clients with one of the largest bilingual labor pool in the region."

Operating a global network, NCO touts more than 100 customer contact centers throughout the world, with offices located in the United States, the Philippines, Canada, Panama, Barbados, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia and Antigua.

The NCO Group also has a strategic alliance in India. This latest addition of their newest call center in Guatemala helps to increase the company’s worldwide capabilities to provide better service to its clients.

NCO Group has been ranked as a Top 50 Inbound Teleservices Agency Ranking company by Customer Interaction Solutions magazine. This ranking is based on the number of billable minutes during a measured time period.

The contact center outsourcing industry remains significantly competitive, given the current economic state throughout the global market. Companies still need to be able to deliver high quality customer service, even if it taxes the bottom line. This creates significant opportunities for providers such as NCO Group, especially if they can deliver the right service at the right price.
