kgb, a privately held company based in New York, reportedly announced the release of kgb 542542 Text Answer Service. Kgb specializes in providing directory assistance and enhanced information services.

 
The company has built many retail brands in the telecommunications and information services sector. Its European retail brands include: The Number 118 118 in the U.K. and Le Numero 118 218 in France, both of which hold a large market share in the respective countries.
 
The new kgb 542542 Text Answer Service is similar to having a personal assistant who will provide optimum answers for all questions pertaining to holiday shopping, entertainment and travel.
 
Company sources explained that kgb’s army of “special agents” will provide answers for any every day question like this year’s hottest toys, top electronics gifts this year and the best prices. It also guides travelers giving details on a fun holiday vacation or helps in checking traffic conditions for relatives who are traveling. To leverage the capabilities of kgb service, the user has to simply text questions to 542542 for a quick and accurate answer.
 
The specially-trained kgb “special agents” are fully equipped to provide appropriate answers. Users will receive real-time responses to questions any time of the day or night on any mobile phone at the cost of only 99 cents per answer.
 
“The holidays are one of the most hectic times of the year, a time when we all have more last minute questions than usual. During such a busy time – especially when you’re out at the grocery store or the mall – no one wants to plow through a mountain of search results when you have a specific question – that’s where kgb comes in,” said Bruce Stewart, CEO of mobile and digital at kgb.
 
He added that there will be thousands of kgb special agents standing by this busy holiday weekend to provide specific answers to whatever questions arise. Answers regarding a last-minute gravy recipe, an update on travel advisories or online price comparisons on this year’s hottest gifts while shopping on Black Friday (News - Alert) will be provided by kgb.
