A process-driven systems and software engineering company,
Embvue Inc.,
announced its plan of forging a strategic alliance with
Edgewood Ventures, an India-based technology accelerator focusing on high growth ventures for the Indian market.
In a press release, Embvue and Edgewood informed about the signing of a memorandum agreement by both companies on Nov. 10. The memorandum agreement includes the basic terms of the business relationship between the companies, the companies said. In addition, the MoU sets a timetable for the formalization of a full teaming agreement, which is expected to be completed over the coming months.
“The memorandum agreement that has just been signed is the first milestone in what we expect to be a long and fruitful relationship between our companies. Edgewood has a very strong presence in the extremely important Indian aerospace market and we are delighted to be their technology and solutions partner for a number of key avionics products that will be being brought to market by Edgewood over the coming months and years in India,” said VP of Sales and Marketing at Embvue, Phil Cole.
According to industry watchers, Indian aerospace market is poised for dramatic growth and Indian Government is encouraging the growth of an indigenous aircraft and avionics industry. The government is also encouraging technology transfers with existing suppliers to support the current expansion, as well as for getting future ready to be able to compete on the world market in the future. Signing the contract at this critical juncture, the two companies demonstrated discretion and keen sense of business.

A couple of month back Embvue Inc announced the launch of its Isis product line. The company said in a statement that based upon the tried and tested aviation industry standard for airborne Ethernet networks, the Isis product family includes a secure switch / router software implementation, a secure end system network stack and a complete set of networking tools. These aid customers in designing, simulating, integrating, configuring, optimizing and monitoring the network.
