Array Information Technology (ARRAY), a firm that specializes in services to the national security, defense, and scientific sectors, announced that the U.S. Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC (News - Alert)) has awarded the company a new task order at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
The main focus of the order will be on the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) Organizational Unique Communications and Information Systems related support for ASC Agile (News - Alert) Combat Support Directorate.
To support the program, ARRAY will offer a large portfolio of software, hardware, communications, data management, compliance, and security expertise, which requires the highest level of profession and technological skill in order to upgrade, streamline, and secure existing processes, company officials said.
"We are excited to expand our support to the U.S. Air Force ASC in this organization and we are thankful for our growing partnership," said Jon Dittmer, vice president of Defense Solutions for ARRAY, in a statement.
"We're focused on delivering the people and processes necessary to support the ASC in its mission to design, develop and deliver dominant aerospace weapon systems and capabilities for U.S. Air Force," Dittmer added.
Recently, ARRAY announced that the U.S. Air Force awarded Array Information Technology, a firm that specializes in services to the National Security, Defense, and Scientific Sectors, with the multiple-award contract. The $500 million, multiple-award contract is part of the U.S. Air Force's Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services contract vehicle.
