WiSARD-MapELEMENTS Integration to Enhance Geospatial Network Data

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

Mosaik Solutions, formerly American Roamer (News - Alert), the global source for geospatial network intelligence, has decided to integrate its online application WiSARD with its cloud-based mapping intelligence platform, MapELEMENTS.

The integration of WiSARD's tabular data containing codes, licensing data, billing IDs and more into MapELEMENTS will further deepen its existing geospatial network data with a broader set of search elements, cementing its position as the largest global coverage database on the market.

Currently under beta testing, the integration of WiSARD with MapELEMENTS will take place in October 2012. The company will provide incentives and training to current WiSARD users as they migrate to MapELEMENTS.

"The marriage of vast geospatial network intelligence and service provider information means we are making it easier and faster for users to gain the insights they need," said Bryan Darr, CEO and president of Mosaik Solution.

Although geospatial network intelligence has not really achieved a take-off status in the telecom industry, it's starting to become significant in many sectors.

For over 20 years, American Roamer has been a center for information on wireless telecom, and WiSARD has been on the cutting edge of delivering not only relevant, but updated information to the wireless industry.

"Since 1999 mobile industry professionals have relied on WiSARD. We are taking all the important data in WiSARD and making it more valuable with MapELEMENTS' robust software capabilities," added Darr.

With an enhanced user interface, with more multidimensional, relational search capabilities and more advanced filtering options, MapELEMENTS will enhance value to CDMA and GSM operators that use intelligence to make better strategic decisions.

In related news, BAE Systems has been awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to provide enterprise support to management and resources for technical Services for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.
