Imarda Inc., a company that provides a global fleet management solution and mobile GPS vehicle tracking software, has been selected as the New Zealand Police’s preferred GPS vehicle tracking provider.

The contract is estimated to cover more than 3,000 police vehicles.

Imarda was selected for its GPS vehicle tracking system after an extensive evaluation of 15 vendors. The robust selection process, conducted by the New Zealand Police, determined that Imarda had the most suitable Telematics solution for its requirements. During the selection process, each vendor’s specific performance criteria was taken into consideration, including scalability, integration capability into existing business systems, technology flexibility, future proofing, and the ability to provide future innovation and references from existing customers.

Imarda’s Telematics Software-as-a-Service technology platform, the i360 FMS, uses data collected from in-vehicle devices like the Imarda’s proprietary GPS tracking devices together with third-party devices like smartphones.
