The Cloud Front Group has stated that an assured data delivery mechanism will be available for the Iridium (News - Alert) satellite network. It will be available with Saratoga Data Systems’ Flume Network Optimization product.

Flume is an Internet communication protocol that gets rid of the effects of latency on data communications. While being completely compliant with TCP/IP standards, Flume considerably increases Internet data throughput. While efficiently sharing Internet bandwidth with conventional communication traffic, Flume accomplishes this incredible acceleration.

In March 2012, IceWEB, Inc., a provider of unified data storage appliances for cloud and virtual environments, entered into a partnership with Cloud Front Group. According to the agreement, Cloud Front Group will offer a turnkey big data analytics solution with the help of Cloud Front Group's big data analytical expertise. The company will also use Cloudera's Apache Hadoop-based software and IceWEB's (News - Alert) Unified Data Storage Systems.
