Getting a parking spot for your car in a busy area needs some luck. In fact, parking can easily be a game spoiler in your shopping or weekend experience. But companies like ParkMe help users in their parking endeavors by offering some technical help.

Angeleno Group, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has ‘parked’ some investments in ParkMe, a company that provides parking software solutions. This new funding from Angeleno Group will be used by the company to get more business in U.S. and around the world.

The company provides a real-time on-street parking solution that helps drivers find parking places a lot quicker. They can get parking alerts on their mobile and digital devices and also on their smartphones and in-car navigation systems. To do this, drivers do not need to deploy any additional hardware or equipment as the solution will make use of existing infrastructure.

The company’s solution allows the drivers to find best parking locations near the place of their choice. It even helps the parking operators by allowing them to easily prepare a map of the locations of their parking lots. On a larger scale, even municipalities can get a piece of the parking action as they can show real- time parking data to the interested users.
