Hughes (News - Alert) Communications India Limited (HCIL) has been honored at the Telecom Operator Awards 2013, scheduled on March 21, 2013, with the "2013 Best VSAT Operator in India" award. HCIL is an ancillary of Hughes Network Systems (News - Alert), LLC or Hughes.

Organizations exhibiting outstanding performance in providing first-class results in service and assistance in the telecom sector are honored by the award. Partho Banerjee, president and managing director of HCIL, received the award from Alok Brara, publisher of Tele.net. For the past six years, HCIL has been the recipient of this esteemed award.
