TMC (News - Alert), a global, integrated media company recently recognized Dialogic’s BorderNet 2020 Session Border Controller, with the 2012 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.
Dialogic (News - Alert) is a premier developer of products and technologies that enable operators to provide an enhanced mobile experience. Its BorderNet 2020 SBC displays quality and innovation and also provides solutions to real business communications challenges. Owing to these features, the editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY honored Dialogic with the prestigious award.
“We are honored to have won this award. Gateways are holding some service providers and enterprises back from transforming their networks to IP, while still others are not yet ready to make that transition. The ability of the 2020 SBC to act both as a gateway and an SBC enables its customers to transition at their own pace from legacy TDM to IP networks, with the comfort of knowing that when their networks are transitioned fully to IP that they won’t need to upgrade their SBC,” said Jim Machi, VP Marketing, at Dialogic, in a statement.
Since 1998, INTERNET TELEPHONY has been the IP Communications Authority and has been providing unbiased views of the complicated converged communications space.
Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO of TMC, said, “I would like to congratulate the team at Dialogic for their commitment to advancing IP communication technologies.”
Winners of the 2012 Product of the Year will be published in the January/February 2013 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
In related TMC news, Dialogic recently announced that it has been positioned by Gartner (News - Alert) as a market “Visionary” in the Magic Quadrant for Session Border Controllers.
