Panasonic SIP Phone Systems Certified Interoperable with Vintalk's Hosted IP PBX and SIP Solutions

Panasonic System Networks Company of America, a provider of business and home telephone systems, announced that Vintalk (News - Alert), a global provider of wholesale, business and consumer IP communication solutions, has certified two Panasonic SIP Phones Systems series for use with their Hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) and SIP Trunking solutions.

The phone systems, which are certified for Vintalk hosted IP PBX and SIP Trunking solutions, include the TGP series and UT series. These phones offer flexible, cost-effective communications solutions for both the home office and business environments.

These plug-and-play phones are simple to install. Expandable system options provide immediate cost-saving benefits and flexible configuration options. They also deliver outstanding voice quality for crystal clear business communications.

Since 2005, Vintalk has been deploying its Hosted IP PBX and SIP Trunking solutions to customers worldwide. The partnership leverages Panasonic's global leadership in the DECT (News - Alert) cordless telephone market with Vintalk's best-of-breed Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network, resulting in a winning combination, company officials said.

"For many companies, the Panasonic solution offers a lower up front capital outlay without sacrificing quality or features such as high definition voice," said Jayson Jones (News - Alert), SVP Business Development, Vintalk, in a statement.

The flexible configuration options enable easier integration of Panasonic (News - Alert) SIP phones with Vintalk's Hosted IP PBX or SIP Trunking solutions. The reduced hardware costs and simplicity of routing calls over an internet connection, VoIP, can add up to significant savings on monthly telephone bills, the company said.

The cost-effective SIP phones enable home office or small business environments to take advantage of a larger variety of business-class features such as call forwarding, intercom, conferencing, voicemail to e-mail, fax to e-mail, and many more unified communications tools.

Panasonic SIP phones include KX-TGP500, KX-TGP550, KX-TPA50, KX-UT136 and KX-UT133, and KX-UT123 and KX-UT113.

TMCnet recently reviewed the latest Panasonic KX-TGP500. This expandable cordless phone system with SIP end points offers a location-free base station and one cordless handset. It will support six TPA 50s, DID specific ring tones and includes a handset locator button. Read the full report here.
