IntelePeer (News - Alert) Inc. has carved out a niche in the world of on-demand cloud-based communications with ThinkGrid, the world's first cloud enablement platform vender for the Chanel. This week, IntelePeer stated that ThinkGrid will now include CoreCloud SIP Trunking services in addition to its cloud-based VoIP and unified communications service offerings.
ThinkGrid enables a wide range of hosted services including VoIP, desktop productivity, and collaborative solutions such as Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync, through its global network of IT solution providers targeted at small and mid-sized businesses. The new cloud platform will allow these IT service providers to offer enterprise-grade IT solutions at much lower prices. IntelePeer provides SIP trunking connections as an essential part of unified communications and VoIP services. After a review of the options and various competitive offerings, IntelePeer's CloudCore SIP Trunking received top marks as a cost-effective, enterprise solution that allows solid profit margins for resellers and high value to end users.
"By teaming with IntelePeer, ThinkGrid gives our channel partners access to high-quality SIP trunking connections that provide customers with long-term cost savings and eliminate the hassles of traditional PBX (News - Alert) systems," said Rob Lovell, CEO of ThinkGrid. "In addition to the excellent value, IntelePeer SIP trunking is the industry's most feature-rich solution, with impressive sound quality."
This is big news for IntelePeer. ThinkGrid has a worldwide customer base that will be all new to IntelePeer. The ThinkGrid business model is based on partnerships, with over 300 such existing business-to-business relationships like the newly minted agreement with IntelePeer. The return on investment for both organizations looks to be favorable. Expect revenue growth for both IntelePeer and ThinkGrid as a result of this partnership.
