The Panasonic SIP Cordless Phone (News - Alert) Systems, which are ideal for both home office and business environments, are now compatible with IPsmarx (News - Alert) Technology's hosted telephony platform.

According to a press release, the KX-TGP500 and KX-TGP550 lines of Panasonic SIP phone systems have been certified for use with IPsmarx Technology's Class 5 Softswitch & Multi-Tenant IP-PBX (News - Alert) Solution with integrated billing.

The IPsmarx cloud-based multi-tenant IP-PBX technology allows VoIP service providers to offer feature-rich IP-PBX service to their business clients. The all-in-one solution includes complete billing, e-commerce, and provisioning to facilitate easy deployment and a rapid return on investment.

“Certification with Panasonic SIP endpoints furthers our mission to offer complete IP-PBX and billing solutions to VoIP service providers. Integration with our Auto-Provisioning feature also enables our clients to easily and affordably implement this line of Panasonic products without having to manually configure the phones,” CEO of IPsmarx Technology Arash Vahidnia noted in a statement.

Panasonic, better known as a consumer electronics provider, entered the lucrative SIP phone market in 2010. The IPsmarx certification is expected to further solidify Panasonic's position in the DECT cordless telephone market. The Panasonic SIP Cordless Phone Systems can be a low-cost yet superior alternative to traditional phone systems. These new age phone systems come with excellent voice quality and productivity-boosting features.

DECT 6.0 handsets furthermore eliminate interference with wireless networks, and a convenient cordless design eliminates the need to run dedicated network wiring to each employee workstation.

In the beginning of the current year, Panasonic introduced the KX-UT670 Smart Desk Phone, which boasts a full operating, open source system, as well as a Web browser, seven-inch color LCD Touch screen and HD wideband voice and high quality HD video. It is also certified for Broadsoft, Asterisk (News - Alert) and Metaswitch, can be expandable to six SIP terminals and has the ability to support Bluetooth.
