After seeing great success with its heating and cooling training center, Panasonic (News - Alert) UK & Ireland (PUK) is moving full speed ahead with investing in its 2013 business operations, including new content, courses, participant feedback and additional planned initiatives to help further build product and technology awareness to promote energy-efficient living.
Lined up for the company next year will be new developments to training facilities for the ERP compliant split, the GHP heat recovery system, the High Temp 65degC ASW Monobloc and the Heat Recovery VRF. Furthermore, available courses for next year, which have been scheduled to begin March 2013, involve Air-to-Water Products & Design, Air-to-Water Technical Splits (PACi), VRF 1 or 2 and GHP 1 or 2 and servicing.
Since first opening its doors in September 2011, the Bracknell-based PRO Academy invites contractors, developers, installers and specifiers to attend courses. It has spurred growth throughout 2012, and with over 300 delegates having attended these courses, the number of attendees continues to increase each month.
Marc Diaz, country manager of Panasonic UK & Ireland, says, “As manufacturers, we recognize the importance of investing in specialized training facilities for our products. Nowadays, it isn't enough to manufacture the technology. It is up to us to ensure that our products are installed and operated correctly for optimum performance and efficiency.”
Continuing its efforts to remain ahead of the game and at a competitive advantage, the company has also dedicated time to gather significant feedback from delegates, which are being used to better develop and improve training. Some improvements already being made based on this feedback include new content, courses, and CPD and MSC (News - Alert) accreditations.
