Gamma, a provider of simplified communications and software services for business, recently announced radically different pricing, which goes into effect as of July 1, on a number of core IP products and services. Specifically, the network operator will offer call termination completely free to U.K. fixed destinations — namely the 01, 02 and 03 number ranges — for customers of its SIP trunking solution and hosted IP telephony service, Horizon.
Gamma introduced its SIP trunking service, IP DirectConnect, earlier this year in TelecityGroups’ UK data centers.
Included as part of the free U.K. termination on IP services is a fraud management tool designed to protect channel partners and their customers from minutes fraud, also known as toll fraud, on mobile, international and Non Geographic Number destinations. Toll fraud is an issue of extreme importance for VoIP as the capabilities of the technology make it easy for fraudsters to access a large number of targets.
As such, Gamma's access to a free fraud management tool is of potentially greater value than its free U.K. fixed destination call termination.

Gamma's new pricing initiative is ideal for channel partners looking to provide a fixed price solution to customers.
