Cypress Communication's Commitment to Innovation Wins Laurels from TMC

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

Cypress Communications is no stranger to awards and its unified communications service has continued to win accolades for excellence and innovation. Adding to its long list of achievements, it announced that TMC, a global integrated marketing company, has named the company’s hosted unified communications solution, C4 IP, as a recipient of its 2010 Unified Communications (News - Alert) Excellence Award. This is Cypress’ 31st award for excellence and product innovation.

The company has been helping SMEs, small-to-medium enterprises, connect, communicate, collaborate and continue with a range of fully hosted and managed voice, data and Internet solutions with C4 IP, a powerful suite of collaboration tools that include Microsoft Outlook integration, unified messaging, real-time presence, file and desk-top sharing, chat, audio, video, and Telepresence (News - Alert).

Cypress' ability to pass on the advantage of its C4 IP unified communications services to its customers right from its expansive IP network down to the user's desk phone, helped firms to implement the solution with no upfront capital investment. For a single monthly fee, SMEs got everything they needed, right from expertise to equipment. The scalability of the service meant that businesses paid only for what they used, and could scale services as and when required.

Frank Grillo (News - Alert), executive vice president of implementation, support and marketing at Cypress, was delighted with the award and said, “We are thrilled our C4 IP unified communications service continues to win awards, and thank TMC for their recognition.”

Continuing in the same vein, Grillo elaborated on the role that C4 IP, unified communications services played and added, “Unified communications is truly helping people be more productive in their communications. People instinctively recognize that different communications methods are best for different purposes. Sometimes an IM or an e-mail is best and for other communications only a phone call will do. And tying them together in an easy-to-use platform creates great efficiency. With C4 IP, we bring these benefits to small-to-medium businesses.”

Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO of TMC, congratulated Cypress communications on its achievement and said, “Cypress Communications has proven its commitment to excellence while providing solutions in the UC marketplace. We are pleased to grant a 2010 Unified Communications Excellence Award to C4 IP. Congratulations to Cypress on receiving this award and we look forward to future innovations.”

Unified Communications Excellence Award winners are published in the October 2010 issue of Unified Communications magazine, which is devoted to educating readers on employing unified communications solutions. Cypress is recognized as one of the fastest growing telecommunication companies in North America. The company has also been named one of Atlanta’s Best Places to Work and is also a Deloitte (News - Alert) Fast 50 and Fast 500 award recipient.
