According to a recent press release, Toshiba (News
- Alert) America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division and LEAF Financial Corporation (LEAF), the commercial finance subsidiary of Resource America Inc. have entered into a vendor finance program agreement to support the customer financing and leasing needs of the Authorized Toshiba Dealer Network.
Branded as Toshiba Telecom Finance, the program will provide Authorized Toshiba Dealers a comprehensive lease finance offering designed to make Toshiba VoIP business telephone solutions more accessible to their small to medium business customer base.
"We are very excited to work with LEAF Financial to provide our customers with flexible financing solutions from an industry leader in the small and middle-market telephony leasing space,” said Larry Meyer, vice president of Sales and Marketing of Toshiba America Information Systems for the Telecommunication Systems Division, in a press release. “We are committed to providing the Authorized Toshiba Dealer Network with innovative products and programs that will assist them in maximizing their telecom sales efforts."

A commercial finance and asset management company, LEAF Financial Corporation is headquartered in Philadelphia, Penn., and its business model aims at originating small to middle ticket equipment leases and loans in a variety of asset classes through specialized strategic business units. After origination, LEAF manages the leases for its own account, institutions, and individual investors through investment partnerships and other investment vehicles.
