With the ever increasing need for enterprises to connect with their affiliates, employees and partners worldwide, web conferencing solutions have become a vital components of the businesses today. Although there are a number of web conferencing solutions available in the market, most of them feature high prices and are unaffordable by most of the Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs). Apart from it, some of them rely upon third party data centers that are not able to offer consistent performance.
To address the issues associated with the available web conferencing solutions, a new web conferencing software company is going to launch its offering. Global Virtual Opportunities (GVO), a company that provides Web Conferencing Software announced the pre-launch of its GVO Conference (GVOC). Initiated for benefiting the enterprises who want to leverage a new business opportunity, the pre-launch will be followed by a product-only launch phase in near future.
The Web Conferencing Software is being available by GVOC at very low prices, and provides a number of vital tools to the users. Joel Therien, founder and chief executive officer at GVO intended to offer the solution as an affordable service to the users. A well known video and audio web conferencing software solution is priced near $100 a month, while the GVOC solution will be made available at around one-tenth of the cost.
“You can get a 50 seat conference room for only $8.97 a month,” commented Joel Therien. “That is affordable worldwide! Judging from the overwhelming success to date, I believe GVO will become a $100 million company in 12 to 24 months.”
GVOC claims to have its own data center and every bit of code has been customized by the company, which results in low overhead costs and enables the company to offer its full featured web conferencing software at low prices. Located in San Antonio, Texas, GVOC benefits from the reputation Texas has earned as the fiber optic capital of the world with availability of unlimited band width.
In October 2010, Technology Marketing Corporation announced that the Web Conferencing community, sponsored by MegaMeeting, had been launched as the newest addition to the TMCnet global online community program. The Web Conferencing community had been designed for decision-makers from service providers and enterprises seeking information about video conferencing developments.
