In an effort to help small businesses  increase efficiency and productivity, telecom equipment manufacturer Matrix has unveiled a new integrated Small Office and Home Office “SOHO” IP-PBX (News - Alert), called “ETERNITY NE.”

Matrix manufactures telecom equipment for the customer premises and offers solutions grouped under four different categories: Voice Switching, Voice Messaging, GSM Products and VoIP Products. The company’s switching products include IP-PBXs for SOHO, SMB, SME and large enterprises.

The ETERNITY NE IP-PBX is the latest addition to the company’s already existing ETERNITY IP-PBX family, which is specifically designed for SOHO businesses and offers features and functionalities that dramatically improve efficiency as well as productivity.

ETERNITY NE can replicate the functionalities of a desk phone on user mobile phones. This facilitates users to make or receive calls and access systems features such as call transfer, forward, voice mail, directory and conference from within and outside office.

Official with Matrix said that the company’s ETERNITY NE is not only easy to use and configure, but also supports different network connectivity including PSTN, GSM/UMTS (News - Alert) and VoIP, while providing seamless communication across all forms of extensions such as analog, digital, mobiles or IP extensions.

Satisfying the requirements of SOHO, the new ETERNITY NE brings true convergence of technology with accessibility to GSM, POTS and VoIP network on a single platform. This IP enabled system not only features integrated voice mail but also mobile trunks and extensions.

The ETERNITY NE is available in four variants: ETERNITY NE 206, ETERNITY NE 308, ETERNITY NE 412, and ETERNITY NE 616.Apart from mobile trunks and extensions, the new ETERNITY NE also has features such as auto-attendant, automatic DISA, call budget on TRUNK, least cost routing, Web-based programming tool, and more.
