Leader in Home Medical Equipment Selects EasyLink Services for Fax Solution

A national leader in home medical respiratory equipment, services, and medications, has selected EasyLink as its provider for hosted fax services.

The company has signed with EasyLink for an initial three-year term.

This national leader processes thousands of faxed medical order forms daily between its clients and its regional service centers utilizing a fax solution to automate the order handling process by routing fax-based orders through its CRM system.

On-demand faxing has lowered the company's operational costs, allowed it to process orders faster, avoid duplications, and increase customer response time.

The company selected EasyLink's hosted Production Messaging fax service based on its restricted timeframe to find a solution that required no CRM interface re-architecting, coupled with EasyLink's reputation for providing highly reliable outsourced fax services.

Officials with EasyLink said that the company developed, tested and implemented an interface to the company's CRM system in less time than required with no re-architecting of its CRM interface and maintained full service continuity by seamlessly transferring fax numbers to the EasyLink network.

"We are pleased to have another significant medical services company select EasyLink to assume the management of their high volume fax operations," said Kevin Maloney, senior vice president of global sales and marketing of EasyLink Services, in a statement.

Maloney said that EasyLink's SaaS (News - Alert) approach to fax will provide ongoing cost efficiencies, scalability, security, and control that will continually meet the company's evolving business needs.

EasyLink Services (News - Alert) International Corporation in August announced that BDI-Insurance, a Texas-based insurance and financial services agency, had extended its agreement with the company for an additional multi--year term.

BDI will continue to utilize EasyLink's on-demand Desktop Messaging solution to securely send and receive critical fax communications, including insurance claims, confirmations, and benefits information.

The ability to exchange fax communications directly from the desktop allows agents to process information faster, and ensures BDI clients privacy of incoming transmissions. All faxes are received in electronic format for easy archival and reference.
