UBL and Toktumi: Small Businesses Now have 411, Directory Search Engine Visibility

Small or home-based businesses using alternate phone services will now have 411 and directory search engine visibility, according to a joint announcement made by UniversalBusinessListing.org, a leading provider of business identity management, search engine submission and directory submission services, and Toktumi, Inc., the creator of the Line2 iPhone (News - Alert) App.

As per its website, UBL offers search engine and directory submission services, reputation monitoring tools and a variety of premium submission services for improved online visibility and identity management. With the new initiative, customers will be able to submit their phone numbers and full business profile data to UBL for distribution to all major U.S. search engines, online Yellow Pages, directories, social networks, mobile devices and 411 directory assistance.

Toktumi (News - Alert), which is the leading provider of affordable hosted PBX phone services for small businesses and virtual offices and mobile VoIP solutions for business users and consumers, thinks that the partnership will prove to be benefiting for its customers as well as its business growth plans.

"This addresses a common fear of small businesses leaving their expensive traditional phone services, which historically have fed phone data to directory publishers and 411," said Peter Sisson (News - Alert), founder and CEO of Toktumi, in a press release. "UBL's low-cost, high-value solution reassures businesses they will reach over 300 publishers of directory data. This translates into real calls and real business."

Doyal Bryant, CEO of Name Dynamics, UBL's parent company, said that Toktumi's phone solutions are the future of communications for small business, and its business data is as valid as that of traditional wire-line providers.

"We intend to offer the Toktumi service to our own customers and see many opportunities for other solutions in the partnership,” Bryant added.
