Ringio has announced it completed public beta, capping its trial with an updated version of its "Rich Calling" service for small businesses that incorporates more than a dozen new user-centric features guided by the feedback of more than 300 early customers.
Officials with Ringio (News - Alert) said that "Rich Calling" produces an enriched, affordable caller experience as a result of its focus on data integration with customer-relationship management “CRM” and IVR tools that normally are out of reach of SMBs.
Company officials said that Ringio developed its application with an emphasis on affordability, ease of setup and elegance of presentation on users' desktop or smart phone screens.
"Our beta users asked for the best of both worlds, and that is what we've given them with this new release," said Michael Zirngibl, co-founder and chairman, Ringio in a statement.
Zirngibl said that now SMBs who have a PBX (News - Alert) and those who don't can get the call-center-style screen pop, visibility into coworkers' availability and sophisticated call routing they never could afford before.
"Those who have phone systems don't disturb anything in place. Those who don't get their first chance to project a professional call presence and stop losing business due to misdirected or unanswered calls," he said.
One SMB participant in Ringio's beta, Timothy Ericson, CEO and co-founder of CityRyde, an urban bicycle-sharing company in Philadelphia, said: "We were very impressed by the quality of the Ringio beta and actually received a number of compliments by our callers. We're even more excited now to turn on the new routing functionality and roll out the solution to the rest of our company."
Ringio is the first cloud-based Rich Calling Service to intelligently route calls to any phone in the world along with relevant information about the caller – making conversations more meaningful and productive.
Integrating intelligent call routing and CRM data, Ringio provides capabilities previously available only through call centers and proprietary customizations – bringing Rich Calling Services down market to small- and medium-size businesses for the first time.
