The acoustic division of ODI, Spracht, has introduced the second product in the Spracht product line, the Aura SoHo, a full duplex conference speaker phone.
Compatible with Skype (News - Alert), Windows Messenger, and all other VoIP
applications and phone systems, Aura SoHo utilizes a Sound Clear Digital Signal Processing (DSP) chip for digital or analog phone systems.
According to company officials, this analog ready product features multi-line and digital PBX
system compatibility—with an optional digital adapter.
The accessory bay plug includes a Bluetooth
Module, PBX (News - Alert) for digital phone systems, and wireless connectivity. Officials stated that with one device, SoHo’s interchangeable modules enable multiple connectivity options.
Officials explained that echo and noise cancellation is provided by the patented Digital Signal Processing technology, which allows full duplex operation for simultaneous two-way conversations without clipping.
The speaker features a five-watt output to fill large home offices or conference rooms, and automatic room acoustic profiling adjusts to a specific room. Officials pointed out that SoHo is equipped with three built-in microphones, which provide 360 degree coverage for a 20' x 20' room, and one optional external microphone for use in larger conference rooms.
In addition, SoHo also features a ConferenceNow one touch conference button and controls with built-in keypad and redial button.
“The Aura SoHo provides the conference phone market with the latest in acoustic technology,” Trace Williams, vice president of sales and marketing at Spracht, said. “The SoHo offers a high quality, yet affordable, conference phone that provides clear and natural two-way communication.”
He also said that whether a user is at the office or working from home, the SoHo provides quality conferencing at an affordable price.
The Aura SoHo retails for $249.99, and is available for purchase at www.spracht.com.
