QuesCom Releases Latest Cluster Solution

QuesCom (News - Alert), a provider of fixed mobile convergence solutions, has launched its new Cluster Solution for QuesCom gateways, providing improved scalability, security and flexibility for the QuesCom architecture.

QuesCom Enterprise One Number delivered through QuesCom gateways optimizes availability for fixed and mobile calls as well as fax to email, the company said. It enables users to be reachable at any time with a single number.

The new solution eases the deployment of QuesCom gateways for large account customers and, with the centralized architecture, new devices can be deployed and administered easily.

With the offering, businesses can also quickly increase the number of users and resources according to their needs and the solution can be deployed up to several thousands of users.

QuesCom Cluster Solution is characterized by the high availability architecture (N+1 architecture) by which it enables businesses to maintain all services available even in case of failure of one of the pool of gateways. In cluster mode, each gateway runs in stand-alone, this means completely autonomous and can replace any other failed gateway.

“This solution answers our customers demand for security and flexibility.” explained Vincent Brault, director Marketing at QuesCom, in a statement. “The solution, already deployed for several customers in Europe, will satisfy the needs of large accounts requesting such a level of service continuity.”

QuesCom’s telephony solutions are ready for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and they leverage the current telecommunication system. According to officials, QuesCom Appliances allow companies to realize up to 50 percent savings on their telephone bill and benefit from value-added services like mobility and fax designed to increase efficiency in corporate communications.

“Because Fax and Mobility services are critical for business, the QuesCom Cluster was the must-have solution for our customers,” said Stephan Malric, product manager at QuesCom, in a statement.

QuesCom is a member of Nokia (News - Alert) PRO Forum, Nokia's advanced developer program. The company has more than 400 European resellers and is a certified member of major PBX vendor programs as Aastra, Alcatel, Avaya, Cisco (News - Alert), Innovaphone, Mitel & 3COM

The QuesCom Cluster Solution will be available the first quarter of 2009 and is compatible with the range of QuesCom 300 and QuesCom 400 gateways.
