SunGard Availability Services announced that it will address the challenges pertaining to customer satisfaction, business data protection and regulatory compliance and give solutions at the Gartner (News

The suitable solutions are expected to enhance the availability and uptime necessary to maintain business operations, applications and compliance processes.
According to SunGard sources the conference will feature a presentation by Dominick Paul, vice president of Recovery Services Solution Design at SunGard Availability Services, on “Application Availability for Heterogeneous Environments.” Paul will outline effective approaches to the IT challenge of maintaining application availability in multi-platform environments at the session. The session is scheduled to take place on Dec. 7.
Paul said in a press release, “Heterogeneous IT environments are the norm for organizations today as they are designed to address varying needs, budgets and priorities within an organization.”
“Security and regulatory concerns may drive the need to maintain historical environments, while other business requirements leverage new technologies. These environments present special challenges in that they require different availability solutions. At the Gartner Data Center Conference, we’ll show organizations how they can help ensure the availability of disparate business applications,” he added.
Mickey Zandi, managing principal at SunGard Availability Services, will participate on a Cisco (News
