Vitesse Receives Strategic Supplier Award From FiberHome

Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq: VTSS), a leading provider of advanced IC solutions for Carrier and Enterprise networks, announced that it has received the 2012 Strategic Supplier Award from FiberHome (News - Alert) Networks, one of China's largest providers of fiber-optic network and telecommunications equipment. FiberHome was one of the first companies to complete the recent China Mobile (News - Alert) 100G project testing and is the sole supplier contracted to build the Malaysia national broadband data backbone network.

Vitesse was one of approximately 35 companies bestowed this recognition for 2012, presented during FiberHome's suplier conference on December 19, 2012 in Wuhan, China.
